Tokya The RP8 Gen2 is an improved version of the manufacturer’s most popular direct drive polisher. The new model includes all the advanced features of its predecessor, such as a wide speed range, soft start function, load compensation electronics (known as “variable speed control”) and a switch lock option. In addition to these features, the polisher’s ergonomics and control are improved, as seen in the new and improved handle design, which provides a comfortable grip with a high-quality rubber coating.

For added comfort during longer and more laborious polishing sessions, a side handle is included, providing better control and ease of use. The machine’s extremely wide speed range allows for effective scratch repair and offers an extremely low minimum speed, making it easy to polish delicate surfaces and ensure a hologram-free finish. The convenient Soft Start function ensures a smooth and controlled start at the selected speed, allowing you to immediately control the job from the start.

The load-compensating electronics, commonly known as “variable speed control”, which is usually found in high-end professional machines, ensures a constant speed even when pressure is applied to the machine, for example when removing deep scratches. This function guarantees a smooth and consistent polishing result, as the speed does not decrease under strong pressure.

When working on large surfaces, the machine switch can be locked in the ON position, freeing your fingers from constantly squeezing the trigger. The five-meter power cord allows you to easily move around the vehicle without unnecessary interruptions in search of power outlets. In addition, the spindle quick-release system is located in the front handle (remove the transport lock from the inside of the front handle before use), making it easier to change pads, especially when switching between different pad and disc sizes.
