IronX Snow Soap – The first step in complete paint decontamination! When we created Iron-X Snow Soap, we imagined the time we could save by combining the iron-precipitation removal power of Iron-X with the cleaning and lubricating power of an environmentally friendly surfactant. This idea formed the basis for one of the most versatile and effective maintenance products on the market. By changing the dilution ratio, Iron-X Snow Soap can be used as an iron-precipitation removal snow soap with a foam gun or a wash mitt!
It can also be used as a lubricant for clay and polymer decontamination products or even a wheel maintenance cleaner. A truly multi-purpose cleaner. My personal favorite use for IronX Snow Soap is as a powerful pre-wash to help remove old wax, traffic film residue, dirt, dust and brake dust/iron contaminants while providing a perfectly lubricated surface during the wash cycle.
Features: pH neutral. High lubricating power. Uses only the highest quality detergents and emulsifiers to wash your vehicle surfaces.
Snow Soap easily removes dirt and road film. Excellent wheel cleaner – apply gel directly to wheel surface. Gently cleans bodywork with rich foam.
Smooths surface. Use on paint, glass, rims, headlights, plastic trim and clear lights. Dilution: 1-3 ounces in foam gun for simple snow foaming.
Up to 1:8 – light to medium iron remover. Do not dilute when using prep wash. Directions for snow foaming: Rinse vehicle using pressure washer to remove dust and debris.
Add soap gel to warm water and shake well to mix in snow foam lance. Adjust lance to desired effect and foam concentration. Treat vehicle with snow foam as usual and allow to work.
Depending on the concentration of the foam on the vehicle surface. You may notice a color change when the foam comes into contact with heavy deposits. Rinse thoroughly before hand washing.
Instructions for hand washing: Rinse the surface thoroughly to remove all large and/or loose particles. Apply the soap directly to the glove and wash one section before rinsing the glove and repeating with the next section. (Although snow soap is used as a hand wash, it should not be added to the wash bucket.) You will notice that the soap gel changes color where it comes into contact with the iron.
This indicates the removal of the deposits and highlights problem areas that you may want to treat with IronX paste or liquid later in the decontamination process. While small iron particles will be removed, larger particles or vehicles that have not been thoroughly decontaminated previously will require a higher concentration of IronX or IronX paste. Rinse all surfaces thoroughly.
