The added reactive soil remover in this advanced formula is designed to chemically dissolve embedded ferrous metal particles, this reaction suspends them in solution to not only destroy the contamination but also limit contact with the wheel surface during rinsing. These sharp ferrous particles are primarily caused by hot brake dust and are essentially tiny pieces of metal shrapnel that get lodged in your wheels as you drive, damaging the surfaces and posing a serious corrosion risk.
