CARPRO Descale is an all-new acidic car shampoo released for SEMA 2021. CARPRO Descale was designed from the ground up to restore ceramic coatings that have accumulated minerals. Over time, minerals (sometimes visible as water stains) and sometimes not easily noticeable, clog or make the surface less smooth.

This in turn creates a higher surface tension, which in turn prevents water and dirt from separating from the surface as easily. Most communities suffer from this condition (often known as hard water). CARPRO Descale car shampoo was created to help remove these stubborn minerals from coated or even uncoated cars.

It breaks down the build-up of minerals that reduce shine and restores the smoothness of ceramic coatings while restoring their hydrophobic nature damaged by mineral stains! While it is great for removing burnt-on mineral deposits from ceramic coatings and powerful nano sealants (such as CARPRO Hydro2 or CARPRO Hydrofoam), Descale Shampoo is not suitable for regular washing of a waxed or sealed car as it can remove wax or protective coatings.

At Sky’s the Limit Car Care we recommend this product for coated cars subject to heavy mineral deposits, quarterly maintenance washes and neglected vehicles with mineral stains as an initial preparation step prior to decontamination and detailing steps. Like many of the CARPRO products, Descale can be used full circle at the beginning of the detailing process or as a maintenance treatment for a CQUARTZ coated vehicle.

When NOT to use: If your car has a carnauba wax or polymer protective coating and you do not want to re-wax or seal the vehicle. As a regular weekly wash. For regular washes, use CARPRO Reset!

Ceramic coating restoration capabilities. pH 6 Directions: Dilute 1:100 for washing in a bucket or 1:10 for a foam sprayer/spray bottle. For light soiling: use Descale as a snow foam and allow maximum exposure time (without letting it dry) before rinsing. Then wash by hand.

For heavier soiling: wash panel by panel, starting with horizontal panels. Wash the panel and let Descale act for as long as possible, without letting it dry. Repeat if necessary.

Rinse thoroughly with water. Precautions: Test in an inconspicuous area before use. Do not allow to dry on the surface.
