GTECHNIQ G1 ClearVision Smart Glass Hydrophobic Durable Chemical Bond Lasts up to 20,000 miles G1 ClearVision Smart Glass is extremely durable, the hydrophobic feature improves visibility in wet weather, helping to improve safety and reduce eye fatigue. It also makes it much easier to remove contaminants such as ice, insects and tree sap from the glass. G1 will only work on glass surfaces, so it will not work on modern headlight lenses made of polycarbonate.

For these cases you will need to use G5 Water Repellent for Glass and Perspex. Choose the 15ml bottle for windscreens only, or the 100ml bottle if you want to use it on all your car windows. The G1 kit includes G2 Stain Remover.

How to use: – Make sure you are working in a well-ventilated area, at a temperature of 5°C or higher – Wear gloves and avoid direct sunlight – Clean all glass you plan to protect with G6 Perfect Glass and MF5 Power Glass Cloth – For best results, polish the glass with G4 Nano Glass Polish and a medium pad. Alternatively, polish the glass with G4 Nano Glass Polish and a hand polishing pad.

Apply a small amount and buff in a circular motion. – When finished, buff the glass to a shine using G6 Perfect Glass and a MF5 or MF1 ZeroR microfibre polishing cloth – repeat as many times as necessary to remove all residue. – Shake the bottle well before use. – We recommend 3 coats of G1 for windscreens, but only 1 coat is required for side and rear windscreens. – Apply a generous amount of G1 to the AP1 lint-free applicator pad. – Work the product into the glass in a circular motion, covering the entire glass, and leave to cure for 5 minutes. – Using a new AP1 applicator, apply the same amount of product to the pad, but this time apply G1 on top of the previous coat in a lateral motion and leave to cure for another 5 minutes. – Apply a third coat with the same amount of product on AP1, but this time apply in vertical straight lines and leave to cure for 15 minutes. – Remove hardened residue with G2 Residue Remover.

Apply G2 to the remaining applicator and apply it to a small area, then immediately polish the glass with the MF1 cloth. – Finish by cleaning the wiper blades and glass with G6 Perfect Glass and MF5. – We recommend applying a layer of G1 to the wiper blades without removing the residue. If the wiper blades are worn, they should be replaced. – Do not expose the car to the weather for at least 3 hours. – Store in a cool, dry place. – Use G1 and G2 within 3 months of opening. – There may be a slight vibration of the wiper blades, in 90% of cases this will disappear within two weeks.
